Eligibility Requirements: Students who are selected for the LPW Scholars Program must

Be a female from one of the following counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Houston, Jones, Twiggs, Wilkinson, Washington, Hancock, Putnam, Monroe, or Jasper
Christian
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year and be Pell Grant eligible or have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) less than $10,000 as calculated by the Department of Education. The FAFSA for your freshman year must be completed prior to completing this application for the Scholars Program.
Live in the LPW Scholars Community, GCSU provided housing for the duration of their undergraduate degree
Must attach resume to this application, a written essay that discusses desire to be a leader in nursing who is committed to evidence-based practice, lifelong learning, service to the community and civic participation, and a written essay that describes in less than 500 words your need for financial assistance compared with other GCSU Students
